S\u00c3O PAULO | SEPTEMBER 16-20, 2024<\/p>\n

Future horizons for urban form: disruption, continuity, expansion, and reverberation<\/p>\n

The ISUF 2024 Conference promises to be a great and unforgettable opportunity to gather again in S\u00e3o Paulo (for the second time in Latin America). The S\u00e3o Paulo ISUF conference will be held at Mackenzie Presbyterian University<\/a> in Downtown S\u00e3o Paulo. The Conference will start on September 16th and end on September 20th, 2024.<\/p>\n

Check out the ExOrdo online portal<\/a> \u2013\u00a0where you can submit your abstract (template attached in this e-mail).<\/p>\n

We are pleased to invite you, for one more year, to participate in the International Seminar on Urban Form. Next year 2024, we will celebrate the 31st edition in S\u00e3o Paulo (Brazil).<\/p>\n

The call for abstracts is now open. We hope to have your contributions and that you can spread the word among potential interested parties.<\/p>\n

The deadline to submit abstracts ends on January 31st. To submit proposals, use the template attached. You will receive a response regarding your acceptance by March 15th.<\/p>\n

Submissions rules:
Applicants may submit up to two abstracts for review.
The word limit for the abstract is 300 words; the abstract should be in English and not include images, tables, or references. The abstracts are peer-reviewed.
The abstracts should be submitted through the ExOrdo platform. Please fill in the submission form and attach the abstract file to the additional information section (following the provided template).<\/p>\n

ORAL or POSTER submissions:
By submitting the abstract the authors hereby affirm that the work submitted is theirs, original and recent. Please choose two of the following thematic axes when submitting your abstract:<\/p>\n

Disruption: climate change, global warming, heat islands, rising sea levels, pandemics, healthy cities, migrations, conflicts, etc.
Continuity: history of urban form, cultural heritage, comparative studies, multidisciplinarity, conservation, preservation, etc.
Expansion: Global South, megamorphologies, morphometrics, tent cities, etc.
Reverberation: teaching, research and practice<\/p>\n

To facilitate the blind review process, individuals and institutions should not be identified in the body of the abstract; e.g. use \u2018author\u2019s institution\u2019 instead of using the name of the company or the university.<\/p>\n

We hope to see you all in S\u00e3o Paulo next year!<\/p>\n
